Jaime Arredondo

CAPACES LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jaime is a proud immigrant from Las Ranas, Michoacan, Mexico. He is the Executive Director of the Capaces Leadership Institute and has worked in the non-profit sector for nearly 14 years. Some of his favorite roles have included: tour guide, smiles provider, peacemaker, convener, agitator (with a smile), storyteller, and wannabe graphic designer and handy person.


Jaime enjoys running, spending time with family, volunteering, and watching sports. His favorite foods are mole and sandwiches. He’s been happily married for 10 and is a proud father of two beautiful daughters.


Jaime loves to give back to his community. He serves as a Trustee with Collins Foundation Board, Vice-President of Western Oregon University Board of Trustees, President of PCUN's Board of Directors, and member of Oregon’s Youth Development Council, Oregon Future Labs, Chemeketa Community College President's Community Leaders Advisory Committee, Oregon Community Foundation Latino Partnership Project Mid-Valley Advisory Council, Oregon Farm to School and School Garden Network Steering Committee.
